Knowledge Horizon has launched a series of innovative online courses called Animated Business Concepts (ABC) at India’s biggest E-Learning event, eINDIA 2010, held at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre. The ABC have been designed to help learners overcome the general fear and mysticism surrounding quantitative subjects such as Accounts, Finance, Statistics and Economics. The main underlying aim of these concepts is to help learners around the world demystify these subjects without any prior knowledge, with the help of our innovative, simple and easy to understand instructional strategy.

Managing Director of Knowledge Horizon E-Learning Pvt. Ltd., India, Santosh Ranjan, announced the forthcoming launch in India of a national level ‘Accountancy Literacy Campaign’, as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility. Animated Business Concepts could be of immense value to students, teachers and working executives belonging to any industry or function -- Marketing, Operations, Sales, HR or Accounts, government administration – helping all to build a foundation so that they can effectively apply the knowledge to real life situations. These ABC are offered in an online mode, and can be accessed from anywhere, anytime, through Knowledge Horizon’s websites and online learning platform. ABC is being nominated by the jury of eIndia for the "Best Open & Distance Learning Initiatives of the Year Award" for year 2010.

Dr. Ma'en Al Qatamin, the President of Knowledge Horizon Ltd., who is also the brain behind this product, says “The ABC initiative by Knowledge Horizon is to simplify the learning for the users and to support the teaching fraternity, by developing innovative instructional and presentation methodology and help people learn faster. Effective use of rich graphical content, high level of animation and interactivity with audio makes the concept enjoyable for the user. Self-assessment tools and exercises embedded in the e-concepts help learners evaluate their understanding and its application to real-world scenarios. ABC can be used as quick reference learning material through which the learner can fill his/her knowledge gaps easily and apply them wisely.”
