Under the auspices of Dubai Police Commander-in-Chief, Lieutenant General Dahi Khalfan Tamim, the sixth Hemaya International Forum was launched at Dubai Police Officers' Club. The forum was held for two days, and discussed issues related to human resources and drug control in the presence of international experts along with specialists from Dubai Police.
During the press conference, Major-General Taresh Eid Al Mansourri, Director of the General Department of Human Resources, announced the activities of the forum. The International Hemaya Forum which discusses drug issues is considered one of the main activities that are organized by Dubai Police and the launch was designed to coincide on the occasion of World Anti-Narcotics Day, on June 26. This forum will take advantage of this event to raise and discuss issues related to drug addiction, and find solutions to combat and prevent it.
Knowledge Horizon participated in the third session on the use of e-learning and virtual communication tools to invest in human resources. This was headed by Brigadier General Ahmad Jawwad al-Fattah, head of Arab and international relations and Chief of the Palestine Division contact. Dr. Maen Al Qatamin, President of Knowledge Horizon made a presentation on e-learning and its role in human resources investment.
