Sharjah Tatweer Forum has signed a memorandum of understanding with Knowledge Horizon aimed at benefiting the forum from Knowledge Horizon`s services in advising and consulting as well as technical assistance and institutional support, especially in the field of statistics, data, and analysis and ways to support decision making through information about the Emirate of Sharjah.

The agreement was signed by Jasim Mohammed Al Balushi, Chairman of Sharjah Tatweer Forum, Dr. Maen Qatamin, President of Knowledge Horizon in the company`s headquarters in Knowledge Village. Mr Saud Al-Najjar, board member of the Sharjah Tatweer Forum, Mr Walid Hassan Naqbi, Director of the Forum, and Ms Feda Shaheen, Vice President of Knowledge Horizon were present during the signing.

Jassim Al Balushi ensured the success of the Sharjah Tatweer Forum in raising and organizing a series of partnership programs between the public and private sectors. This is held with the participation of Presidents and Managers of government departments and private companies along with members of the Forum. The aim is strengthening relationships between the various sectors and supporting the role of these sectors in increasing the competitiveness of the Emirate of Sharjah, as a center for trade, education, culture, and tourism.

Dr. Maen Al Qatamin, President of Knowledge Horizon highlighted the status of Sharjah Tatweer Forum and praised its achievements over the past years in the vision of supporting partnership between the public and private sectors.

The agreement serves to underline the relationship of the two parties and their quest for cooperation in entrepreneurship, research, and future studies and specialized seminars. This will help review the latest developments and best practices in areas of common interest as well as cultural events and projects that serve the community. Organizing and conducting programs, projects and joint activities to support and stimulate the overall competitiveness of the Emirate of Sharjah and support the goals of Sharjah Tatweer Forum is also emphasised.

The agreement will allow both parties to access and participate in activities and events organized by both parties and link a list of activities to their websites or conduct joint programs between the parties. The Forum will also act to facilitate partnership between Knowledge Horizon and the private sector and civil institutions in addition to members from the Forum to cooperate in the field of projects and events.
